One More for BBTB

Hi Everyone!

I had this idea for a card floating around for a while, and I sat down tonight and just decided to finally get it out! And I'm so excited, 'cause I finally used my Cuttlebug for the first time. Here are the details:

OUTSIDE:
*(green base) standard card size
*googly eyes
*Joann's brand self adhesive ribbon
*eye rub ons on the title tag
(The title tag says "Eye Hope You Have A...". It didn't show up real well in the picture.)

INSIDE:
*DCWV orange glitter paper to cut monster @ 4" with Paper Dolls cart
*Stickles in Crystal and purple
*Happy Halloween rub on

Here's a close-up of the glitter paper. I just love this paper!

Thanks for looking, and hope everyone had a chance to craft today!

BBTB Paperdolls Monster Challenge

Hi Everybody,

When I saw this challenge, I knew I had to enter! I love Halloween so much, and I had made this invitation with the monster and knew it would be perfect. I used some velvet puffy markers to outline the monster to give him some extra dimension. Of course, though, I had made only enough to complete an order, and did not make any extra ones to keep for myself! So I hurredly scanned them, so I would at least have the pictures. I apologize for the cut off portion. I used Paper dolls for the figures, and the spider web, and Stamped for the font. I used DS to scale down the spider web. I also put eyelets in all four corners. TFL, and hope everyone had a chance to craft today!

Scrapbook Expo Goodies!

Hi Everyone! I am back from the expo, and it was another good year! Here are some pictures of all the goodies I found!

I found some really cool metal brads. These have some cool bling for a great detail!

I also found these really cute tins that we could decorate ourselves!

Some rub-ons with jewels, glittery halloween stickers, super cute halloween brads, metal brads with jewels were some of the great deals I found this year.

I couldn't pass up this really cute wooden Baby sign. Our baby boy isn't due until January, so I'm hoping I get some time between now and then to decorate this really cute!

I have so many stickers already, but the halloween border stickers, Superman, amd grandparent stickers are some that I couldn't pass up. I also found a cool date stamp, fine glitter, glitter chipboard letters, and acrylic stamps.

I also found some beautiful foil paper in 12 x 12 size, and some black and white paper in 12 x 24 size. One of the best deals I found was some My Big Idea paper pads. One was filled with some glitter sheets, and gorgeous patterns. The other one had some flocked sheets. The last paper pack I found was a pack of foiled glitter paper. These are all so pretty, and I can't wait to make some holiday cards, and scrap some pages! Now I had promised some giveaways, but I need some help in getting my blog known. So tell your friends to become followers, and leave some comments, and if we get up to 5 followers, then one of these awsome things I came back with will be given away! If we get up to 5 followers, and 5 comments, then there will be more given away! So help spread the word, so I can give some prizes away! Thanks again, and hope everyone had a chance to craft today!

Celebrate National Card Making Day!

Today is National Card Making Day, and in celebration, I wanted to share a quick party invite you can make. It's post card style, so that makes it all the easier to create! Here are the details:

Cartridges: Paper Dolls, Celebrations
Sizes: Pirate Girl = 2 1/2", It's a Party = 3 1/2"
Materials: black cardstock, hot pink cardstock, flesh colored cardstock, deckled edge scissors

After creating the pirate girl, I inked the edges of her hat to separate the pink on pink. I cut the edges of the pink with decorative scissors to give it a little extra :)
I also traced the features of her face to give it a little more detail.
To keep it simple, I printed the party information on my computer, and inked the edges to give it a worn "pirate map" feel. The skull was the accessory on the cartridge for the pirate girl doll.
And that's it! If you cut all the parts at once, it would be really easy to make a lot of these invites. And you can easily change the figure to whatever theme will work for your celebration. I hope everyone had a chance to celebrate National Card Making Day!
