Hi Everybody!

I was trying to organize all of my older posts, and I just wanted to show some of my favorite projects again that I came across. I wanted some of my newer followers to see some of what they missed! Speaking of followers, I can't tell you how honored and excited I am that I get to share my projects with all of you. Personally, I really don't have anyone around me that I can show my projects to that appreciates them, or gets as excited about crafting like I do. So thanks so much to all of you who choose to follow my crazy cricut crafting!! So go ahead and click on the links below to check out some "oldies but goodies". And as always, please feel free to leave a comment or two :) I hope everyone had a chance to craft today!!

My Creative Time Challenge-Paperdoll Challenge

Hi Everybody!
I'm really trying to participate in Emma's challenges 'cause I just love the idea that we need to use our older carts. I also love that it MAKES me carve out some time to craft. I have 4 kids (4 months, 2, 6, and 7......whew!), so I find that weeks go by, and I haven't made a single project. It's really theraputic for me, so I miss it when I don't craft. Ok, so anywhoo, I have been really wanting to decorate my kids rooms since they are almost as bare as the day we moved into this house! So for my daughter's room, I cut this simple vinyl butterfly. The pink is cut @ 9", and the white @ 8 1/2". Not the most decorative, I know, but I think I'll find some other cuts to dress it up. (I really wanted to challenge myself by participating in this challenge, and on this cart, this was the only cut I could find to use for what I wanted.) Thanks for checking out my project!

Mom and Me Scrapping

Hi Everybody!
Like a lot of mom's, I was wondering how I was going to still get my scrapping time with my kids out of school. I found this class at Big Picture Scrapbooking that solved my problem! It is called Kidding Around-A Mom & Me Scrapbooking Escapade. I will post more about how this class is going, and what I think as I get more into it. It officially starts July 8, but I wanted to share it with everybody 'cause I really like thought it was a great way to share crafting with my kids :) Click on the badge on the right for more info. Hope everyone had a chance to craft today!

MPS Father's Day Challenge

Hi Everybody!

Here is my entry for the MPS Father's Day Expression Challenge :) I just recently got the Tie the Knot cart, so when I saw the grooms box I thought how cute that would be for a Father's Day treat box! I'm not at all crazy about the tie, and would definitely want to try a little more with this cut, but my 4 month old decided he wouldn't let me have any more crafting time, and I wanted to make sure I had time to post it on the MPS website. I have another idea for a different tie, using the tie cut on Designer Calendar (thank you to ScrapGuy for pointing out that cut!!). I'll try and post that later tonight. So here are the details, and hope everyone had a chance to craft today!

  • Tie the Knot cart
  • paper = brown-Papertrey Ink, striped-?? from my stash
  • brads = ?? from my stash
  • white gel pen to color bow tie
