Pink By Design Sneak Peek!

Hi Everybody!

There are actually sneak peeks of 3 sets.  Can you guess which ones they are???  More peeks soon!!!

It's Pink Friday! Pink Cricut Design Team Day! And a Giveaway!!

Hi Everybody!
It's Pink Friday! Pink Cricut Design Team Day!  Do you like my pink playlist for today??? So this time the design team is giving you some UH-MA-ZING inspiration for the mom in your life.  For my project, I decided to use a 5 pocket goodie holder kit I had.  My mom has recently gotten more into couponing (thanks of course to the Extreme Couponing show on TLC!).  So I thought she might be able to use this to keep some coupons in, or receipts, or love notes from her favorite daughter (her only daughter but since I have 2 brothers I'd still be her favorite!!).  Here's how it turned out:

*Pink By Design = Big Thoughts set, All in the Family set
*I used my FAVORITE paper, Cosmo Cricket!

* I used more Cosmo Cricket paper to decorate the inside pockets.

That's it!  I think she'll like it :oD  Also, next Thursday is the Pink by Design Ustream for the May Stamp Release. If you are on facebook you can see details for the event on the Birthday Week Celebration, Pink Party and Pink by Design Stamp Release announcement.  You can watch the stamp release, and all the fun on the Ustream channel HERE.  To celebrate the new release, let's have a GIVEAWAY!!

For a chance to win the Tool Time stamp set (great set to get ahead on Father's Day!!), leave a comment on this post telling me what your favorite Pink By Design product is. For an extra entry, head on over to the Pink by Design Facebook page and tell them what your favorite set is and that Crazy About Cricut sent you! (Make sure you leave an extra comment here letting me know you did that!)  Here's a card I made with that set:

This set can work for more than guy cards!  Now don't forget to head on over to Pink Cricut to see what the rest of the talented design team has to show you :oD

Cooking With Cricut Design Team Day!

***PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE THE CRICUT CARDZ CHALLENGE POST***

Hi Everybody!
Whoooo hoooo, it's time for another challenge from the Cooking With Cricut design team!  This time, the challenge is Spring Flowers. Make a project using a spring type flower...Daffodils, dandelions, tulips, etc.  So here is the card I came up with:

I decided to not mess with it too much, and keep it simple!  That's SO HARD for me to do!  I wasn't sure about the stitching at first, but decided that it gave it that home made look :oD  Now please head on over to
the
Cooking With Cricut blog to see the inspiration from the rest of my design team sister, and enter the challenge!!!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #72

Hi Everybody!
I'm so excited to share my design team card I made for the Cricut Cardz Challenge!  This week the challenge is to use any cartridge with a CARD FEATURE for a Mother's Day card and include a flower.  I LOVE these challenges, since this is probably the feature I use the least!  Grandma's are mom's too, so here's the card I came up with:

I decided to outline the design in Stickles instead of doing faux stitching, and I'm pretty happy with how it looks!  I hope you like how my card turned out :OD  Now head on over to Cricut Cardz Challenge to show us how you rock this challenge!

"It's Earth Day, It's My B-Day" Blog Hop

Hi Everybody!
Welcome to the "It's Earth Day, It's My B-Day" Blog Hop!  How awsome is it that our hop hostess, and my friend Gaby gets her own holiday for her birthday?!?!  Lol!  Hopefully you just came from the awsome Melin over at Cooking With Cricut.  If not, please head over to see our hop hostess Gaby at http://www.gabycreates.com/.   So I decided to make her a birthday card.  But in the spirit of Earth Day, I used things I already had in my stash.  I didn't make any Cricut cuts (GASP!  Please don't tell "him"!)!  Here is the card I made:

*This was a card kit that came with all the pieces you see (except for the green border and ribbon-I added those).

*The background was just the polka dots, but I was able to add a lotta bling by adding a dot of Stickles in matching colors in the middle of each dot.

*And what die cut can't be made cuter with a Peachy Keen Stamp??!! I used the Happy Lashes Assortment for this one :oD

*I used a Martha Stewart border punch with Post-it Craft Paper.
*Then I added green Stickles along the bottom.

*Since Gaby loves green, I highlighted that color from the background.

*This green ribbon, and bling matched perfectly!!

Did ya like it?  Gaby, do you like it?!?!  I hope so :oD  Gaby is an amazing person that I have been lucky enough to become friends with.  HAVE THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER GABY!!!!!

Now head on over to see the amazing Cathie!

Here's the lineup in case you get lost or need to stop along the way:

Mother's Day Gift Idea Blog Hop and Challenge with the Creative Cutter Room!

Hi Everybody!
Welcome to the Mother's Day Gift Idea Blog Hop and Challenge with the Creative Cutter Room!  How about a fun hop and challenge?  The theme is Mother's Day Gift Ideas!

Visit each of the following 4 Design team members, find the required element from each DT and submit your project at Creative Cutter Room for a chance to win a prize!

And what is the prize? How about Mother's Day Bouquet Cricut Cartridge!

Challenge Starts today April 21 and runs until May 4!

You will need to collect 4 elements total and include each element on your project and then submit your project at the Creative Cutter Room!

My Required Element: Use stitching (faux or real).

Here's my project I came up with using all 4 required elements.  I decided to give my mom some flowers.  Even better, 'cause these never need to be watered, and will never die!!
*Forever Young = all flowers and layers
*Formal Occassion = title frame and layers
*Pink By Design = All in the Family set
*Martha Stewart ribbon = on vase
*Stampin' Up! ribbon = on flower "stems"
*vase and pebbles I already had
*pink pearls from my stash

*My mom is a grandma and a mom, so I used some of the stamps from the Pink by Design set "All in the Family" to stamp the ribbon.  It came out perfect!!!

Now go visit my design team sisters to get the rest of the requirements:
Carri
Gaby

Jenny (that's me!)
