Welcome to the Pink By Design Team Halloween Hop!



Hi Everybody!
I'm almost TOO excited for today!  It's FINALLY time to start celebrating Halloween, and I get to do it with the best design team ever!!  You should have just come from Sarah, our favorite Pink Cricut.  If not, please head back to her blog to start this hop from the beginning :O)

I recently got brave enough to try a twisted easel card.  This was perfect for today, since today is also World Cardmaking Day!! I got the tutorial for my card HERE.  I had never tried a regular easel card, so I wasn't really sure how this would go.  Two folds, 2 pieces of cardstock, and some die cuts and embellishments later this card was born!

*I tried adding stitching to the patterned paper and was happy with how it turned out!

The Queen's Royal Court Blog Hop - Featuring 4MyBabies Day 5

Welcome to Day 5 of The Queen's Royal Court Blog Hop! The Queen's talented designer's have one awesome week for you showcasing 4MyBabies and her digital designs. You should have just come from my good friend Gaby from Gaby Creates. If not, please head over to the hop hostess Theresa at The Scrapbooking Queen's blog.

Each of the Queen's designers were given a couple of kits to highlight for this hop. I got the Raawwrr and I Heart Chocolate kits. This card I made is using one of the patterns from I Heart Chocolate.  I printed the pattern full size on an 8 1/2" sheet :O)

*I just layed the whole patterned paper sheet right onto a 12" x 12" paper.  I love the way it looks!

*The white mat was how it came out of the printer.  I left it since it gave it a double mat look that I liked.




*This was another cut from a swap, but I believe its from the "Shall We Dance" cartridge.


I was really happy with this layout, and am so happy that I will be able to recreate this patterned paper thanks to having a digital kit!  Thank you for joining us this week as we highlighted 4MyBabies and her digital designs.  Make sure you comment on every 4MyBabies post this week to have the most chances to win!

Welcome to the Fall & Halloween Blog Hop!



Hi Everybody!
I am so proud to welcome you the the Fall and Halloween Blog Hop featuring the Thankful Thursday Design team.  Thankful Thursday is a challenge I have here on my blog.  The whole reason for Thankful Thursday is to encourage crafters to get their kids (of any age or the kids in their lives), or ANY family member and craft away!!  Since I am a busy mom of four, I don't always have time to craft and spend time with family.  So I figured why not combine the two??  Every two weeks there is a new challenge and these ladies blow me away with their design team projects and this time is no exception!  I'm so lucky to have such a great team :OD

Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday, so here is my project that I made:

*I think this would be the perfect little trick-or-treat bucket for my little one year old!


*I LOOOVE this monster cut!


*Here's another view of the monsters.

*I am so in love with Core'dinations paper!  They have different kinds, but the one I used has one color on the outside, and the core is a different color!  This one is black and orange.
*I embossed it, and then used a sanding block to make the orange pop even more!


I can't wait to get started making more Halloween decorations!  And what would Halloween be without CANDY!!!!

The Queen's Royal Court Blog Hop - Featuring 4MyBabies Day 3



Hi Everybody!
Welcome to Day 3 of The Queen's Royal Court Blog Hop! The Queen's talented designer's have one awesome week for you showcasing 4MyBabies and her digital designs. Each of the Queen's designers were given a couple of kits to highlight for this hop. I got the Raawwrr and I Heart Chocolate kits.  Ok, so I have to confess that I came up with this project by mistake.  I intended to print these tags out at wallet size, but I got distracted and clicked print and walked away.  When I came back, there were 4 huge tags!  Then I realized that they were the perfect size for a mini album!  So here's how my "mistake" turned out:

*all cuts received from a swap
*large brad from my stash


*We have one boy and 3 girls, so I made this album special for my husband to celebrate his one ally in the house!!
