Countdown to Christmas with Easy Canvas Prints

Check out these awesome canvas pictures!

Hi Everybody!
ONLY 60 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!  Normally this would send me into a bit of a panic, but that is why I'm so excited for my post today!  It seems every year I am scrambling at the last minute to get meaningful holiday presents for my family. I recently was contacted by a company with a product that I think any family member, friend, and loved one would love
to get as a present!  Easy Canvas Prints is this amazing company that turns your photos to canvas portraits!  Any picture you have, you can easily upload to their website, and turn it into a beautiful professional looking portrait to hang on your wall.

As everyone who has seen my blog header knows, I have 4 kids and while I have tons of pictures of them individually, I don't have enough of them together.  So I chose this very special picture to use.  Here's how my canvas portrait turned out:

*I recently bought a new house and just moved in this past week. I was very excited to FINALLY have a mantel to decorate. I knew this would be the perfect spot for this beautiful portrait!

*I chose the 8" x 10" canvas size.
*I took handprint molds my kids made to put next to the picture.  I thought these made great accent pieces for this photo!

*I used some 12" x 12" paper behind the pictures to give some color.  I used Christmas paper for the holidays, but this can be easily changed to fit any season or holiday :)

*There are 3 different options for you to choose from for the borders of your photos to canvas.  I chose Image Wrap, since that worked best for the picture I was using.

*You also get different options for the depth of the canvas.  Mine is a 0.75" Border Wrap.

*This is standard wrap width, default on all canvases. Ideal if you plan on framing your canvas. No extra charge!  I like this depth, as I may want to frame this in the future.

*The details come out so crystal clear!  You can see the detailing of the stripes on my son's shirt are perfect.  They're not fuzzy, or distorted at all!

This whole process only took me about 15 minutes, including uploading the picture!  And I was really happy with the quality of the canvas, speed of the shipping, and affordability of this product.  Make sure you head on over to the Easy Canvas Prints website, and their Facebook Page (let them know I sent you!), to check out all of the great deals they have going on over there. If you "like" them on Facebook, you will automatically receive 50% off of your next order, and free shipping as well!!  Whooo hooo!  TFL, and I hope this helps you get started on your holiday shopping early!

Eeek! It's a Spider Card using Pink By Design Stamps!!

Hi Everybody!
It's my turn on the Pink By Design team blog today, and I want to say hi.....my name is Jenny and I'm a twist-ease-card-aholic, lol!! I am totally hooked on making these!  I've made a couple of different sizes in these cards. For this one, I found the measurements HERE. This size will fit in a standard envelope, so it's easy to mail! Let's get started:

Here are the supplies you'll need:
*Mini Monsters cartridge
*Pink By Design = Ghostly Greetings
*Peachy Keen Stamps = Wide Eyed Kids Assortment
*Martha Stewart = patterned paper, spiderweb corner punch, spider web deep border punch
*twine = The Twinery
*Stampin' Up! = yellow paper
*button
*Stickles = orange, purple

*Cut the base layer for the card @ 4 1/4" x 9 3/4" (yellow colored cardstock).
*Fold the top portion into a triange by folding the top left corner to the bottom right side.
*Cut the top layer @ 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (spiderweb patterned paper).
*Using the spiderweb corner punch, punch each of the four corners of the top layer.

*Cut the spider (p.54) using the base shadow feature @ 2.18".
*Using the Gypsy, hide the cuts for the spider face using the hide contour feature. This will allow you to use a face stamp.
*Cut the spider layer (on mine the purple layer) @ 2.18".
*Wrap the twine around this layer two times, or as many as desired.
*Loop twine through the button.
*Adhere the black patterned paper down.

*Depending on the size of the sentiment you choose, cut cardstock leaving 1/4" border around the sentiment.
*Cut second larger layer 1/4" bigger.
*Adhere to the base using foam dots. **VERY IMPORTANT** This is what will be holding the card up in the easel position.
*This is the perfect sentiment for this sweet little spider!

*Using the deep edge spiderweb punch, punch a strip about 4".
*I added purple stickles to the middle of each spider web. This also highlights the purple of the spider :)

*Here is the card closed.

*I think the twisted easel cards really give a wow factor once they're opened!
This is the perfect card to send to a friend, and decorate your mantle. I hope you try one and share it with all of us at PBD on the messageboard! Thanks for looking, and please check back tomorrow on the Pink By Design blog for another amazing project from the PBD Design team :OD

Welcome to Kimi's Baby Shower Blog Hop!

Hi Everybody!
Ok, first you should have come from Haidee over at www.created2bunique.blogspot.com.  If not, please head over to Lovebug Creations to start from the beginning.

I am so happy to be a part of this special blog hop!  We're celebrating Kimi's special delivery due in December..........unless Mother Nature decides otherwise, lol!  I did the layout that starts out the year, January!  And the new year to me means bright colors, and newness.  So here is how my layout turned out:

*Creative Memories Baby Girl Bright pack = patterned paper, and stickers
* Inque Boutique = January month stamp
*Joann's = kraft colored paper
*other papers from my scraps
*Me & My Big Ideas = photo mat overlays
*Stickles
*Michael's = ribbon

*Using my Scrap 'N Easel makes it so much easier to take pictures of my layouts!

*I drew in the stitching with a pink Zig marker, then added some Stickles dots.  Gotta have the bling!

*These overlays make it super easy to add pictures to this layout.  All Kimi has to do is just slide in a picture.  She won't even need adhesive!  Gotta make it as easy as possible with a new baby :)

*I added this spot for some hidden journaling, and some sweet words for new baby girl :)

That's it!  I really hope Kimi will like it, and even more importantly help her actually complete a baby album!  (Let's not even talk about how I have 4 kids and only 9 months of kid #1's album done.  Yikes!!)

Wait!! One more thing before you go!  We all have a message for Kimi and each blog will have a letter and you must continue through the blogs to get the full message. Leave your message on the last blog for a chance at even more blog candy!!

My letter is:  R

Now head on over to see Lisa and her beautiful layout :)
