Welcome to Lynne's Mad Hatter 60th Birthday Tea Party Blog Hop!!

Hi Everybody!
Welcome to Lynne's Mad Hatter 60th Birthday Tea Party Blog Hop --- don't be late for this very important date and just to be sure you're not late, we're serving tea for not one day but two!! Watch out for rabbit holes, and those drink me and eat me potions as you must do them in moderation. You'll never know what you will see beyond the looking glass --- sew, sit down a spell and enjoy the talented ladies as we hop along in Wonderland. Warning, watch out for the Queen of Hearts as she is losing in the game of croquet and its off with your heads!!!!!

Rather than cake, crumpetts, tarts and cookies, we have blog candy and I mean some sweet treats that are being offered by our great sponsors:
  1. Pat Catan's has donated a $25 gift card for shopping at their store, if there isn't a Pat Catan's in your area, we can transfer that out for you
  2. Karber Digital Images at http://www.karberdigital.com/ has offered 2 digital designs of the winner's choice
  3. Digi My World at http://digimyworld.com/shop/ has offered a $10 gift card

  7. Deborah Marie Foti of http://www.scrappingmamma.net/ will make one of her original birthday cards, Crafty Friends Sentiments Large Sheet by www.gettingcricky.com AND $10 Little Scraps of Heaven Designs Gift Certificate

To be eligible by posting you must comment and post on each stop of our tea party along the way --- now remember to hold your pinky out when drinking your tea --- will that be 1 lump or 2?

If you stopped at my blog to just visit today, I don't want you to miss a single thing along the way and you need to start at the beginning which is two hares by the Cheshire cat who is grinning at you and that darn caterpiller smoking her pipe at http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com/!!!  And now onto my project!!

I moved into a new house this past October, and am still in the process of decorating it.  I've made clocks for my daughter's room, and now I made this one for my craft area.  Here are the details:

*Disney Classics cartridge
*all paper used is from my scraps pile
*Stickles (on eyes and clock hands)

*Rabbit was cut at 3.27".  I would not recommend cutting him at this size unless you HAD too.  The clock hands, and his eyes were so small and delicate, they didn't survive the move off of the mat :P

*I decided to use blue Stickles for his eyes, and silver for the clock hands.  This still kept the detail, and you can never go wrong with added bling!!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed your tea and crumpets and your next stop is not Twiddledee and Twiddledum but

Remember to stop by again tomorrow and check out all the tea parties!!!

Hugs, Love, Tea Cups and Crumpets

*We used some rub ons and patterned paper for decoration.

*She put some themed gelly stickers on the other side.

*We made sure to cut the holes in before we started designing so we knew which way to face things!

*My oldest used this owl image from the Jaded Blossom set I Hoot You.

*Hand-drawn art always makes projects a little more special :O)

*I had to take a picture of this before I cut the hole.  Apparently my 9 year old wanted to make sure I knew where to cut, lol!

Mickey And Friends Monday (on Tuesday)

Hi Everybody!
Sorry I'm a day off.  My whole family was off yesterday, and I realized too late yesterday that it was already Monday :P  So welcome to Micky and Friends Monday on Tuesday, lol!  This time I have a project using the Mickey and Friends Font cartridge.  This is one of my favorite fonts!  For today's project, my daughter used it to make a school poster:

I love this font, because it's so easy to read, and easy to embellish if you want to.

I hope you enjoyed the project today!  Make sure you take a look at your Disney cartridges to see how else you can use them.  TFL, and have a magical Monday :O)

Jaded Blossom Stamp Release Blog Hop!!!

Hi Everybody!
I'm so super excited to be a part of the Jaded Blossom design team, and to share this release with you!  Hopefully you just came from the super talented Ruthie.  If not, please head on over to Jaded Blossom so you can start from the beginning.  You won't want to miss a thing!

And this weekend only the entire Release package is on sale for $62.99 from $71.50!

Here's what I made with these awsome stamps:

For my first project I used the Valentine Treats set :

*These boxes (available in the Jaded Blossom store) are perfect for all kinds of treats! I put a couple of cake pops in them. I just punched a hole in the top (using my Big Bite Crop-o-dile) to be able to put in the stick.

*These cake pops are from Starbucks, and are a little larger.  I would recommend using ones that are a little bit smaller :)

*You can also stamp directly on the treat box!  Make sure you use StazOn ink so it won't smear :)

*I wrapped some twine around each stick, and added a bow.

For my next project, I used the "I Hoot You" Petal, and "Trust in Cupid" for this little easel card:

*The little hearts from the Trust in Cupid set punch out PERFECTLY with a Stampin' Up 1 1/2" heart punch.

Taaaa-daaaa!  These were so easy to make, and came together really easing using these sets.  You could so many of these in no time!!

And if the stamps weren't exciting enough for you, there's also some prizes!!

All you have to do to win is comment on the Jaded Blossom blog and be a JB follower. Want more chances to win? Comment on the entire design teams individual posts, there's only 6 of us. :) WINNERS will be picked on Tuesday.

Now head on over to see
and her fantabulous project!!
