Prize #2
This challenge was born from my desire to craft with and for my family. This challenge is not only for kids, but they are a huge part of my life so a lot of my projects are with them in mind or done with them. So when I was asked by the What To Expect company to do a giveaway, I happily agreed! These books helped me a lot when I first started having kids, and are a great way to support family :O) There will be 2 books of each title given away, a total of 6 winners!!! If you don't need these for yourself, they would make a great gift for a baby shower, or to help out a new mom :O)

To be entered for these fantastic prizes:
1. Leave a comment on ALL blogs in this hop.
2. Please be a follower of my blog (you'll be happy you did!).
3. Comments will be open until  April 5th, 11:59 pm PST.

Thankful Thursday Reminder, and Cosmo Cricket Day 4!!

Hi Everybody!
I hope you all are having a great week so far.  Only one more day until the weekend, whoooooo hoooo!  So for today, I just want to remind you all that you still have one more week to enter the current Thankful Thursday Challenge HERE.  You can enter to win an AMAZING prize pack from Post-it!  If you haven't tried their craft paper yet, or live somewhere you can't find it then you NEED to enter this challenge!

Next, I want to share my project I made for day 4 of Cosmo Cricket!  The Scrapbooking Queen and her design team are highlighting CC all week long, so check in with us everyday this week!  Here is what I came up with for today:

*Pink By Design = Big Thoughts set
*twine and buttons from my stash
*glass candle holder from Dollar Tree!

*Cosmo Cricket paper is double sided, so this project still looks good on the inside too!

The paper ring will slide right off, so you don't have to worry about any fire danger!  Or you can just use a flameless candle :o)  I thought this turned out really nice, and can't wait to make a bunch more of these to put out on our patio.  My kids will be out of school in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait to start those summer nights out in the backyard!  There's nothing like roasting hot dogs, with smores for dessert!

Don't forget you can keep up with everything Cosmo Cricket on their Facebook Page HERE, and on the Cosmo Cricket blog HERE

Cooking With Cricut Design Team Day - And Cosmo Cricket Day 3!!

Hi Everybody!
This week’s challenge for Cooking With Cricut is:
2 Shades of Pink AND either a Cupcake or a Cake die cut!
There was almost too many choices, so it actually took me a while to decide!  I finally decided on this gable box from the Elmo's Party cartridge.  You could put a pajama shirt in with some makeover supplies or a sleeping mask, and this would be the perfect invitation for a sleepover!  Here are the details:

*Elmo Party cartridge = gable box
*Cupcake Cricut Lite cartridge = cupcake handle shape
*Pink By Design stamps = Cupcakes background, Party Time set

*The handle comes with an Elmo head shape, but I just hide contour and replace it with a cupcake.
*I cut it on a 12" x 24" mat as big as it would fit.

*The Pink By Design set Party Time was so perfect for this special invitation!  There were even exactly the right number of lines on the journaling tag for all the important info :oD

*Cupcake background stamp from Pink By Design.
*Here's one side......

*Here's the other side!

I was really happy with how this turned out!  I hope you guys are too :o)
