Welcome to the Flaunt It Friday's Hello Kitty Blog Hop! If you are here from Amy at http://perfectlyunperfectcards.blogspot.com/ than you are in the right spot. For this week's challenge we were asked to flaunt the Hello Kitty with Airplane on Page 65 from the Hello Kitty Greetings Cart. Here's what I came up with:
*HKG cart (HK, clouds, sentiment, and sun)
*Peachy Keen stamps
*formula can
*bbq skewers
*glue dots
*Stickles
*acrylic paint
*cloud patterned paper
* I just cut and assembled all the cuts, and used glue dots to adhere them to the bbq skewers.
*Since the skewers are pointy on one side, I left the plastic lid on the can and just poked the skewers through the lid.
Now for my second project we got to choose any cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings and I chose a few different shapes from this cart. I used the shapes on pages 34,39,49,50, 57, and 59 (shown). *I made a travel coloring book! Here's the details:
*HKG cart
*cricut markers
*white cardstock cut @ 5" x 6" (as many pages as you want)
*O ring
*patterned paper & solid cardstock cut @ 5" x 6"
*chipboard cut @ 5" x 6"
I used the Cricut markers to draw the the shape directly onto the cut 5" x 6" white paper.
*I punched a hole in the corner of all the papers and chipboard, and slipped in the O-ring.
*adhere cut on to the cover
