Memorial Day Cards Using Artfully Sent Cartridge

Hi Everybody!
Happy Memorial Day!  In honor of today, I created a couple of cards using the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge from Close To My Heart.  Since these are all pre-designed on the cartridge, these each took minutes to make!

Here are the Close To My Heart supplies I used:

*For the sentiment, I used the stamp set that comes in the Artfully Sent Bundle.
*To create the striped insert I cut down a piece of Watercolor Paper, and painted the stripes using the awesome Watercolors.

*This has SO MANY sentiments on it!  And it covers every occasion!

*The other card I created was one of the pocket style cards.

*Once again, to create the striped insert I cut down a piece of Watercolor Paper, and painted the stripes using the Watercolors.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today!  The Artfully Sent cartridge is one of the 3 cartridges that are retiring, and is only available while supplies last.

You can grab the supplies I used on today's projects at the links below:

PDE Linky Party

Hi Everybody!
Welcome to another awesome PDE Linky PartyThrough the month of June it's an Anything Goes theme, which makes it easy to link up anything you create!  For this week's linky, I'm sharing a super fun card!  I also have a tutorial on how I put it together.  Let's check it out:

*Using the Wild Card 2 Cricut cartridge, I cut out all the layers for the Fox Card on pg. 48.
*I ran the smaller pieces through my Xyron machine to make it even easier to adhere the card together.

*Layer the heart first.  You can add some stiching if you'd like.

*Layer the tail, and feet pieces onto the fox base.

*Use the cut marks on the card base as a guide to line up the fox.

*Layer the light brown layer on to the off white layer.
*Next, layer the dark brown eye layer onto the eye section.
*Add the white layer onto the dark brown to complete the eyes.

*I added some liquid glass onto the nose and eyes for some fun dimension!

*You also can add some doodling with a white gel pen, and some inking on the card edges.
*Your card is now finished, yaaaaaaaaay!

I hope you liked my project!  Now grab some crafty supplies, and link up with us over at the PDE Linky Party!!  TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :)

Movie Night With Miss Kate Cuttables

Hi Everybody!
I'm so excited to share another Miss Kate Cuttables project with you!  First I want to make sure you grab the freebie of the day:

Now, onto today's project! Here is the file I used.

Movie Night

While this treat could be used for anything, I actually created this for a teacher appreciation gift!  I found out what our principals favorite candy was, then packaged it in these fun tubes.

*You could attach a movie ticket to the bag, or even a gift card for a Redbox rental (which is what we did).

I hope you enjoyed my project!  I'd love to see some of you try one of these and share it on the Miss Kate Cuttables Facebook page HERE, or on my Facebook page HERE.  TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :)
