Haaaaappy Birthday!

Hi Everybody!
Today is my oldest daughter's 10th birthday!!  Can't believe she's now in the double digits :(  But she's a smart, beautiful girl, and I love her :OD  She will be having a "Sweet Skating party" this coming Saturday, so for her birthday today, I thought I'd share the invitations we made.

Here's what I used:

*Once Upon a Princess - card base
*Winter Woodland - ice skate
*Jaded Blossom - Birthday Kisses, Sweet Celebration stamp sets
*Stampendous! - Shaved Ice
*Echo Park - patterned paper
*Timeless Twine - Aqua Blue

*We thought an ice skating party is the perfect way to beat this yucky heat!

*This card base is one of my very favorites!  It always cuts out really good.

*Peek at the inside....

*I took one of the small candy stamps from the Sweet Celebration stamp set, and glitter embossed it.

I hope  you enjoyed my project!  TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :O)

Cooking With Cricut- Photo Inspiration Challenge

Hi Everybody!
It's time for another Cooking With Cricut Challenge!  This week the challenge is a project inspired by this photo:

What a great picture!  I was inspired to make this sparkly snowflake tag.  Here are the details:

*Winter Woodland cartridge - snowflake tag
*Timeless Twine - Kraft Brown Bakers Twine
*Martha Stewart glitter
*Post-it Craft paper

*This is my absolute favorite way to get glitter on a project.  I layout my top layer of my tag on my Gypsy.

*When laying out the base layer, I make sure to flip it.  This makes sure that I will have the adhesive side up on my base layer.

*I then just sprinkle the glitter onto the Post-it Craft paper.

*What project doesn't look happier with a Peachy Keen face???

That's it! It takes about 30 minutes from start to finish (including design and cutting time)So it's a quick project.   I hope you enjoyed my tag. Now it’s your turn!!! Head on over to Cooking With Cricut to enter your project. TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :OD
