Timeless Twine Krafty Valentine's Challenge

Hi Everybody!

I'm so excited for our first challenge on the Timeless Twine blog!!  I have a cute project to share, but first check out the challenge details:

• Project must contain Timeless Twine only. If you haven't had a chance to purchase Timeless Twine yet, you can substitute it for Embroidery Floss. Colors to be Valentine's Day colors (red, pink, white).
• Kraft color must be the base of your project.
• At least one Scallop Shape (ie: circle, border, oval, frame, etc.)
• Project "must" be new.
• Deadline for challenge will be on January 27th, 2012

I decided to make a "lovely" (enter groan at bad joke here, lol!!) little notebook.  Here are the details:

*Timeless Twine = Valentine's Bakers Twine

*Jaded Blossom = Valentine Treats set

*Bind-it-All = wire and to bind the notebook

*EK Sucess = scalloped border punch

*bling from my stash

Hi Everybody! 
Ok, I know that's the longest post title ever, but there's a lot to announce!  Before you keep reading, please look over to the right and press PLAY on my playlist so you can listen to some of my favorite songs while you read!!  And now........

HAAAAAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEEEEEEEE!  Lol, can you tell I'm excited for my birthday?  I was quite the handful when I was younger (that's the PG version of how describe my younger self :P  ), so I'm actually enjoying calming down (but not too much!), getting older and being able to enjoy life more :o)  I will be 34 this year!  And having my crafty life take off has been AMAZINGFABULOUSAWSOME!  I never dreamed that I might actually be able to do what I love for a living.  It's still in the early, EARLY stages, but teaching classes, having sponsored opportunities, and the best part making crafty friends who are as crazy about their crafting as I am has been a dream!

Of course I have to do something crafty to celebrate my birthday (don't forget I also am having a Big Birthday Bloga-aversary celebration on April 16-17th!).   So today I want to start a challenge for one of my favorite cartridges! This is a Cricut Circle Exclusive, so not everybody can get this cartridge!! 

This cartridge may not be everybody's cup of tea, but I really love it.  I love my Cricut and all the crafty doors it's opened for me.  It took my crafting to another level.  So if you're like me, and want to celebrate all things Cricut, this is the perfect cartridge for you!! Provocraft sent me an extra one by mistake, but was generous enough to let me keep it to giveaway on my blog!!!  So in order to get a chance to win here's what you gotta do:

1. Please become a follower-I promise you won't regret it!!!
2. Create a project SPECIFICALLY for this challenge. Any past projects posted will be deleted :(
3. Create a project about something you love (It can be your love for crafting, for the outdoors, or for someone you love, anything), or a birthday themed project.  One project per person please.

• For this challenge write a story (or have the kids in your life write it) about someone you or the kids in your life love. This can be journaling on a layout, or the kids can write a little story on some paper and draw a picture to go with it. 

I'm sorry my project is missing, my little 1 year old decided he didn't like his sister's projects and decided to "remodel" it!  So we will make another one and have to add pictures later on.  But my fabulous design team member Cheryl has an A-DORA-BLE project so inspire you all.  Please click on her name to go to her blog for all the details: **Kassidy's gorgeous project just added!!**

• The project must not be made more than a week before the challenge.

• I will post a challenge every other Thursday and at the end of the month I will choose a winner.
• So if people join in on both challenges for that month they will get 2 chances to win.

• Everyone will have until 8 p.m. PST on March 2nd to enter the challenge.
• For the Thursdays in between challenges I will be posting simple ideas for family activities, or ideas of things to do together.
