Here are the guidelines:

*project must be new
*project MUST contain a Jaded Blossom stamp
*Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp somewhere on it.

One random winner will win the SUPER HERO STAMP SET!!  This is the first challenge has a stamp set as the prize!

Here's what I made for the challenge:

*Plantain Schoolbook Cricut cartridge - apple
*Timeless Twine - black coffee, olive green
*Recollections - solid cardstock
*Stampin' Up! - green patterned cardstock
*white gel pen for stitching

*I cut the cardstock base piece @ 2 1/2"x6 1/2".
*Scored it at 2".
*Next, I used a 1 1/4" circle punch to make the hole in the top flap.
*Then I took some scraps, and used a border punch to add strips to the bottom.
*Finally, I added the apple with some pop dots, and stamped the sentiment.

*Ain't that the truth! Especially with it being over 90 degrees everyday here!

Now it's your turn! Head on over to the Jaded Blossom blog to enter this challenge, and see the other gorgeous projects from the rest of the design team! TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :O)

Teacher End of Year Projects #2!

Hi Everybody!
I have one last Teacher End of Year Project to share with you today.  If you missed the first two, you can check them out HERE.

When we moved into our new house this past October, we didn't get to fully appreciate all the roses, and flowers we have growing in the garden.  Now that warmer weather has arrived, we have all kinds of gorgeous blooms popping up!  So I grabbed some flowers, my flower themed card, a treat bag, some twine, my Jaded Blossom stamps and created this thank you gift.  Here's how it turned out:

*I didn't have a vase, so I made this "vase" in a pinch!  I took some paper towels, and wet them.  I then wrapped it in foil.  This allowed the flowers to stay "hydrated" until they could be delivered!

*These Glassine Bags available HERE are great for all kinds of projects! I love how easy they are to decorate :O)

*I used the Teacher Appreciation set from Jaded Blossom for the little apple, and the sentiment. It went so perfect with these flowers!!!

*I had made this card a LONG time ago, and was glad I had it in my stash for this perfect occasion!  (It's actually the binder project from the Walk In My Garden Cricut cartridge!)

I hope you enjoyed my projects!  TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :O)

Teacher End of Year Projects

Hi Everybody!
Well, sadly, our school year has come to an end so now we have to go back to sleeping in, and not being on a strict schedule.............YAAAAAAAAAAAY!  Lol!  But before my kids left school for the summer, we had to thank their teachers for all their hard work and dedication for the year.  So here is what we made:

*I used the Teacher Appreciation set from Jaded Blossom for both projects today.

*I had posted this card previously HERE, but I wanted to show how it really completes the package with these cookies!

*The cookies are called "Thank You Berry Much"......come on, is this not the perfect card for this?!?!

In my next project,  the Teacher Appreciation set from Jaded Blossom went perfectly with this paper from Cosmo Cricket!

I hope you enjoyed my projects!  Come back tomorrow to check out my last End of Year Project, and how I made a vase in a pinch!  TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :O)
