Birthday Centerpiece and PSA Essentials Day 3!

Hi Everybody!
First let me thank everybody who wished me a Happy Birthday yesterday!!  It was so amazing to have so many thoughtful friends :oD  Ok, now onto the project!  I was so excited when my friend Kassidy over at Inking It Up Crazy asked me to be a guest designer and help her celebrate birthday week on her blog.  For today Kassidy asked me to make some birthday home decor.  I decided to make a centerpiece.  Here's how it turned out:

  • Smiley cartridge
  • Life's a Party cartridge
  • Post-it Craft paper
  • PSA Essentials personalized stamp
  • Peachy Keen Stamps = Happy New Year assortment, Basic Everyday faces assortment
  • wrapping paper for the base

*I would like to make something like this to sell at a craft fair, so I LOVE that I have my PSA Essentials personalized stamp to put on the back of all my projects to let people know who made it, and where they can get more!!

That's my project!  Don't forget to go check out Inking It Up Crazy and see more inspiration for birthday home decor today!  And all week long Kassidy will have birthday inspiration for you :o)  And remember to see the challenge I started on my birthday for the Cricut Everyday cartridge HERE.  Thanks, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today!!

Inking It Up Crazy Fall Design Team - Final Project & FINALLY a Gabby Abby Challenge!

Hi Everybody!
Well, today is a happy and sad day.  It's sad because this is my last DT project for Kassidy over at Inking It Up Crazy.  It has been SO fun being on her Fall Design Team.  I can't wait to see what her Winter Design Team will be creating!!  But it is a happy day, because I am so happy to show you the project I made!  I decided to make a Christmas decoration with a bit of a twist.  And since the challenge this week over at the Gabby Abby challenge is anything Christmas, I decided to also enter this for that challenge.  Gotta love that multi-tasking!!  Here's what I came up with:

Isn't he sooooooooo cute?!?!  Here are the written details:

*When It's Cold Outside (seasonal cart from last year)
*cut 3D snowflake @ 6"
*Grafix Clear Craft Plastic (I got mine at Michaels, and you can use the coupon!  They also used to have 12" x 12" size, and 8 1/2" x 11", but I didn't see the smaller size last time.)
*silver Stickles
*StazOn Jet Black Ink
*Peachy Keen Stamps - Everyday Assortment
*regular blade - depth = 6, pressure = max, speed = 4 or 5

************

So there you go, I hope you like it!  I will be making a bunch of these to hang all over my house.  These are a perfect low-budget, quick, but pretty way to get my house in the holiday mood!  Don't forget to check out all the things Kassidy has going on over at Inking It Up Crazy :O)

Inking It Up Crazy Fall Design Team Project #2

Hi Everybody!
So Kassidy over at Inking It Up Crazy gave us our next DT project.  This time we got to make treat bags.  This was PERFECT, since I had bought some Halloween treats for my kids and had been wanting to make them a bag to give it to them in.  I still LOVE the Halloween Hello Kitty.  So here's what I came up with:

*Hello Kitty cart (image), Once Upon A Princess (bag), Mini Monsters (Boo, and pumpkin)

*I embossed the word Boo with the Bubbles embossing folder.
*I used sheer sparkly ribbon from Michael's for the handles.
*I doodled around the edges with my Zig black marker.

*I used orange Stickles on the bow and her paws, and purple Stickles for the lollipop.

* I used orange glitter paper for the pumpkin.
*I used my brand new Laffy Taffy PK faces stamp set for a sassy lookin' pumpkin!

*I also decorated the back.  I used the shadow feature on this Mini Monster with green glitter paper.
*I used another brand new PK face stamp set, Make a Monster face.  I love this set!!

*I used my white gel pen to color in the eye, and teeth.

*I used my FAVORITE stamp set A Haunting We Will Go from Pink by Design.

So there you go, I hope you like it!  Thanks for joining us over at Inking It Up Crazy :o)
