Welcome to the Boy Oh Boy Blog Hop!

"What are little boys made of?
Snips and snails, and puppy dogs tails
That's what little boys are made of!"

Hi Everybody!
This fun blog hop is to showcase all things Boy. Come join us as we display creations that show each person's interpretation of Boy Oh Boy!

Your hostess for this hop is Jearise at http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com and she is so happy to have you as part of this hop. She'll pick one lucky person to receive a $10 gift card to Joann's Fabric and Craft. You must do two things to be eligible: take the time to hop through all the blogs and then let her know that they have done so and also become a follower of LORBY'S WORLD.

We have a very special sponsor on this hop: PSA Stamps (www.psaessentials.com) please also check out their blog (www.psastampcamp.blogspot.com). These stamps are awesome... They are peel and stick stamps that work perfectly on cards and envelopes or any project that is in need of a cute stamp.

PSA Stamps (www.psaessentials.com) is also giving away 1 stamper and 2 peel and stick packs of the winner's choice. MRSP is $55. Libby O will have directions on how to become qualified for the stamps on her blog so make sure you hop through all the blogs and land on hers at the end. You wouldn't want to miss a marvelous opportunity to win these stamps.

So if you have discovered this hop by chance, please start with http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com and continue through our list of blogs but if you've come from Indira over at http://www.craftyhomemade.blogspot.com then you're on the right track. Yay!

I have 3 girls, and one boy, so I'm so excited to get to do boy projects after doing only girl ones for so long!  I decided to make my little man a special Valentine.  Here's what I came up with:

*B is for Boy Cricut Lite cartridge = robot
*Creative Memories = heart punch
*Jaded blossom = clear cone bag, xo stamp (sneak peek!)
*Timeless Twine = Olive Green Bakers Twine
*Pink By Design = Tool Time set
*Cuttlebug embossing folder = Spots and Dots

Thank you for joining us today and now you can skip on over to see

Here's the lineup in case you get lost or need to stop along the way:

Pink By Design Design Team Project - Retirement Banner

Hi Everybody!
I am so super excited to be doing my first post on the new Pink By Design Stamps blog! Have you seen all the stuff there is, including the messageboard?!?! There are challenges, you can post any projects you've made, questions you have, anything! Now onto my project.

My dad is retiring this year after teaching for over 20 years.  We're all so excited to have him home, and my kids are looking forward to having a full time grandpa (grandma is too!!). The school and the families are having a fancy dinner at my FAVORITE Cuban restaurant (yuuuuuummmmyyy!), and I'll be putting this banner up as part of the decorations.  It's my very first one, so be gentle! Thank you to my friend Ruthie for inspiring me to try one :)

  • B is for Boy cartridge = banner and all banner layers
  • Baby Steps = font
  • Pink By Design stamps = Hat's Off, Canvas background stamp
  • Banner and all layers = 5 1/2", 15 cuts of each layer. This amount of letters would also work for CONGRATULATIONS, and GRADUATION.
  • font = various sizes from 1 1/2" to 2 3/4" (I used my gypsy to make some letters bigger to fit the shape better.)

It's kind of hard to tell in the picture, but the blue square on the right has the texture background stamp added to it. It really adds a lot in person!

I hope you enjoyed the video, and don't forget to check back everyday for your daily dose of Pink By Design inspiration on the Pink By Design Stamps blog :)
