This month's theme is Back to School.  For my challenge project I used the suuuuuuuper cute digis from one of our beloved sponsors, Bugaboo Stamps.  You can check out their blog HERE, and their store HERE.  They have so many types of stamps, and one of my favorites are the pocket toppers!  Here is what I created for this month's challenge:

*Timeless Twine -  Black Coffee
*Copic Markers
*all cardstock from my scraps pile :)
*glossy accents (on his glasses)
*white gel pen for doodling

.

*What kid doesn't like goldfish in a cute bag when going back to school?!?

*I colored him with Copic markers, and added some paper strips.
*Then I used a border punch, some twine and voila!

*I also added some glossy accents to his glasses for added dimension :O)

I hope you liked it! TFL, now head on over to THE SCRAPBOOKING QUEEN'S BLOG to enter the challenge with some fantastic prizes!

Here are the guidelines:

Here's what I made for the challenge:

*Plantain Schoolbook Cricut cartridge - apple
*Timeless Twine - black coffee, olive green
*Recollections - solid cardstock
*Stampin' Up! - green patterned cardstock
*white gel pen for stitching

*I cut the cardstock base piece @ 2 1/2"x6 1/2".
*Scored it at 2".
*Next, I used a 1 1/4" circle punch to make the hole in the top flap.
*Then I took some scraps, and used a border punch to add strips to the bottom.
*Finally, I added the apple with some pop dots, and stamped the sentiment.

*Ain't that the truth! Especially with it being over 90 degrees everyday here!

Now it's your turn! Head on over to the Jaded Blossom blog to enter this challenge, and see the other gorgeous projects from the rest of the design team! TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :O)

Hi Everybody!
Jenny from
Crazy About Cricut here, and I'm excited to be sharing another design team project with you :O)  I discovered my card stash was dangerously low, so I decided I needed to make a few more cards to have on hand.  Here's one I made using a pre-colored digital stamp, and highlighted with the best twine!

*Timeless Twine  - black coffee, lemonade
*Pink Cat Studio - pre-colored digi stamp
*Papertrey Ink - kraft cardstock
*Unity - bow maker

*I soooooo love my bow maker with this twine!!

I hope you liked my card, and that it inspires you to build up your card stash with twine!  And don't forget to check out the Timeless Twine August challenge HERE. TFL, and have a twine-tastic day!
