Jaded Blossom Design Team Day!

Hi Everybody!

I'm so excited that it's my turn to share another Jaded Blossom project with you!  Today I have a sympathy card set to show you.  Sadly, my husbands co-worker lost a family member recently, and he wanted me to make some cards for everyone to be able to sign their condolences at work.  I made 4 since there were a lot of people who wanted to sign.   Here's how they turned out:

*Jaded Blossom - Simple Sayings set

*Cosmo Cricket - all patterned paper

*Papertrey Ink - card base

*ribbon from my stash

Jaded Blossom Stamp Release Week - Simple Sayings

Hi Everybody!

Have you enjoyed Jaded Blossom's Stamp Release Week so far?? Just a reminder, this release is a little bit different. This time you get to see a stamp set each day that will be released on Friday. So lets keep going with the Simple Sayings set! Here's the project that I made:

*Jaded Blossom - Simple Sayings set, straws

*Stampin' Up! - scallop punch

*Cricut cartridge plastic packaging

*I started by cutting out a piece of the plastic packaging that the Cricut cartridges come in.

*Then using different colors of StazOn ink, I stamped the tree and a sentiment onto the plastic.

*IMPORTANT: I stamped the tree image on one side, and the sentiment on the other.  This helped the sentiment to be seen the most clearly.

 *After I stamped it, I punched out the sentiment with the scallop punch.

*I cut a small slit on each side of the straw to hold the topper.

*I put my hand behind the clear topper so you all can get a better idea of the see through effect :)
