Welcome to the Disney Pixar Blog Hop!

Hi Everybody!
Welcome to Day 2 of the Disney Pixar Blog Hop!!  Hopefully you just came from visting Bobbi Jo HERE.  If you didn't, please head on over to see Shawn HERE, so you can start this hop from the beginning :O)

Did you just LOVE the projects from yesterday?  They were amazing, so make sure to check those out!  Today we have some more magical creations for you, so let's get to it!!

Monday is my niece's birthday, so this was the perfect chance for me to make a card for her.  She loves Minnie Mouse, so who better to make a card out of??  I decided to make it a shape card.  Here are the details:

*Mickey Font Cricut cartridge
*Simple Stories - Color Vibe patterned paper
*Recollections - solid cardstock

*My niece is turning 2, so I made this nice and big for her!

*I thought it would be fun to make it a shape card.
*I took 2 of the Minnie shadow shapes, and made sure to flip one side (so they would line up correctly when folded into a card).
*Then I welded them together using my Gypsy.

I can't wait to give this to her.  I hope she likes it!+

There are also some GREAT PRIZES for this hop!

*A special Discount Code from The Buckle Boutique.
You can see projects Shawn has created with their product by clicking HERE.

*The Bow Maker from Cathie Rigby of http://www.creativecutterroom.com/.
Here is a video of her demonstrating her Bow Maker:

And ALSO someone will will their choice of a a Scrap'N Easel or a Scrap'N Easel-Ette from ContainYa Crafts!  (I have both of these, and they are AMAZING to craft with!!!)

Now hop on over to see
as the next stop on the hop!

Here is the complete lineup in case you get lost, or need to stop along the way:

Welcome to the Disney Pixar Blog Hop!

Hi Everybody!
Welcome to Day 2 of the Disney Pixar Blog Hop!  Hopefully you just came from Jessica at the http://thecreativestamperspot.blogspot.com/.  If not, please head over to see our hop hostess Shawn at http://craftychicsblog.blogspot.com/ so you can start from the beginning.

Are you ready for some more Disney magic today??  I made a little home decor project to share with you.  Here's the details:

*Mickey shaped paint chips (I got mine from Home Depot.)
*Pink By Design = Simply Everything stamp set
*acrylic paint
*twine
*picture frame

*I had to paint around the Mickey heads since they had the paint color name printed on the bottom corner.
*I then glued twine around the head to add texture.

*This sentiment went perfectly with the multi-colored Mickey heads, and it's how I feel after coming back from Disneyland!

This was a total crafty experiment for me.  I've always wanted to use paint chips, I adore twine, and like getting my hands messy with the paint!  I might change a couple of things, but all in all I was pretty happy with how it turned out :OD
And now for the blog candy:

Welcome to the Disney Pixar Blog Hop!

Hi Everybody!
Welcome to the Disney Pixar Blog Hop!  Hopefully you just came from the talented Christina from http://www.creationswithchristina.com/.  If not, please head on over to see our hop hostess Shawn at http://craftychicsblog.blogspot.com/ so you can start from the beginning :)

I am so super excited to be a part of this hop!  I absolutely love Disney, and was thrilled when Cricut started coming out with Disney and Pixar cartridges :O)  Confession time.  When I saw this stamp from Pink By Design, I knew right away what cut I wanted to use with it!  And I thought it would make a great sentiment to put on a journal/diary.  Here is how my journal turned out:

*Disney Classics cartridge
*Pink By Design = Animated Greetings set
*twine from my stash
*pre-made journal from Michaels
*yellow Stickles

*I usually like to ink around all the parts of my cut, but I forgot to do that with this one :(
*Then I remembered my chalks!
*I took coordinating chalk colors, and colored around the outter edge of each piece.

*Come on, how perfect is that?!?!

LET'S NOT FORGET THE BLOG CANDY!!

Would you like to win this cut for your own project??  For my blog candy, I'm offering to give this PRE-ASSEMBLED, super cute Pinocchio head to one lucky commenter!
