Cricut Cardz Challenge #70

Hi Everybody!
Yay, it's time for another Cricut Cards Challenge!! This week we're looking for an Easter Cupcake Holder or Wrapper. You can use any cartridge and any colors. So of course Easter means bunnies, and chicks.  To me it also means picnics.  What else is an unfortunate part of picnics is bugs :(  But if the bugs were as cute as this, who would mind??  So here's what I came up with:

  • Cricut Everyday cartridge = wrapper
  • Peachy Keen Stamps = Wide Eyed Kids Assortment
  • Martha Stewart glitter
  • Post-it Craft paper = used adhesive side to add glitter
  • bling from my stash

*I cut 2 wrappers.
*The first one I FLIPPED. Make sure you FLIP the outter wrapper if you are using the adhesive side of Post-it Craft paper.  If you don't, the 2 liners won't match up!

*On the second one I hid the inner circle with my gypsy to have a solid circle to have a place to stamp the PKS face.

*If you have a baby bug, or no gypsy and are unable to flip or hide countour, then just use a glue to adhere glitter to the outside.
*Also, don't cut 2 liners.  Use your Cricut (or circle punch) to cut circles to layer behind the opening so you can stamp faces or a sentiment!

*

There it is! I hope you like how it turned out!! I'm sorry to say that some cupcakes WERE harmed/eaten during this photo shoot :(  But now head on over to Cricut Cards Challenge to enter your cupcake holder.  And just a note, even you baby bug and Create owners can do this!  Make the holder as big as will fit on the mat, and you will have the CUTEST candy holders ever!!  Good luck :oD
