Some Exciting News and a Project!!

Hi Everybody!
I CAN FINALLY SHOUT TO THE WORLD THAT.............

Isn't that awsome?!?!?! I'm so happy I can finally share with everybody the news that I get to be on the Cooking With Cricut Design Team with some AMAZINGLY talented ladies.  Thank you Melin for having me on the team :o)

Ok, so now on to our first challenge.  The theme was Snow Fun. Any winter time outdoor activity. Snowmen, sledding, etc.  I right away thought of the time when we had so much hail, and it was so cold that it didn't melt right away.  So my kids and husband had a snow/hail ball fight!  Now for those of you in colder climates, you're probably going "What's the big deal?"  Well, I live in "sunny" Southern California and there was never anything like this before!

I'm also on the Holy Cricut! Design Team, and that challenge went hand in hand with the CWC challenge!  For HC, we were to use 4 things: Snowman, Ribbon, Patterned paper, and Stickles.

So here's the layout I created and some details:

*3 Birds cart (title)
*Hello Kitty Greetings (snowman)
*Peachy Keen Happy Lashes
*paper from my stash
*snowflakes 5" x 7" embossing folder
*Stickles
*Flip pockets
(I got these at an scrapbook expo YEARS ago, but they are still around.  Just search online.)

*These flip pockets let you add more pictures without taking up more space.  And they add movement to your pages which is always fun!

*I was able to fit 3 pictures in the same space as one 4" x 6" picture!  And I also left a little space to do some journaling.

*I embossed the title, and layered it onto glitter paper.  This really helped the title pop!

* My husband is making a snow/hail ball in his hands, and was on the hunt for our kids!!  I thought this was the perfect sentiment for this picture.

*I was SO HAPPY to get my newest set of Peachy Keen Stamps in the mail yesterday!  So I wasted no time in putting them to use.  Isn't this snowman the cutest?!?!

So there you go!  I hope you like it, and don't forget to head on over to the Cooking With Cricut blog, and the Holy Cricut! challenge and join us in these great new challenges :o)
