Hi Everybody!
It's Pink By Design Day!!!!!!!!!!! This time Sarah wanted us to create something other than a card. I was up for the challenge! I decided to make a frame. With four kids, I always have plenty of pictures I need to display. The OUR KIDS stamp set was perfect for this! Oh, and I will be putting my kids pictures instead of the Cricut heads (although the Cricuts are cute too, but not as cute as my kids!!). So here's how it turned out:
- buttons from my stash
- orange twine from my stash
- $1 frame from the Dollar Tree
- Peachy Keen Boy Mates Assortment set
*I used the Large Polka background stamp in black to create some cute texture, and kept it in a neutral color so its easy to change the accent colors.
*I also used the stamps to create a background mat for the pictures/shapes.
*I used white ink so you could still see them, but it wouldn't take away from the picture.
*I used Post It Craft paper for the sentiments so that I can change the sentiment for the occassion.
*This idea would also work awsome for graduation pictures and the HAT'S OFF graduation set from Pink By Design!
There ya go! I hope you like it. Can you believe this project only cost me $1? I just had to buy the frame, and everything else I had in my stash. So if you get these stamp sets, imagine how many presents you could make! I am all about saving money, and homemade presents! You could also cut the picture frame from the Happy Hauntings cartridge, and stamp a sentiment on that! Endless ideas :o) TFL, and don't forget to head on over to Pink Cricut to see what the rest of the amazing design team has created!!
I'm a new follower to this site, it's a fantastic blog!
ReplyDeleteI always make/decorate picture frames for gifts but I've never done one like this! It's such a cute idea and a good way to have more than one photo :) Thanks for the inspiration!
