Cricut Cards Challenge Easter Bunny Blog Hop & An Anniversary!

Hi Everybody!
Today will be a VERY busy day on my blog!  I will be having a new post every hour from 8 am PST to 5 pm PST!  I started my blog 2 years ago, and am ecstatic to see it grow to this point, and love to celebrate this way!  There will be prizes, challenges, guest designers and more!!

It's a little early, but my first post of the day is the Cricut Cardz Challenge Easter Bunny Blog Hop!  (This blog hop will be at the top of every post today.)  If you just came from Eve, then you're headed in the right direction!  If not, then please head over to Cricut Cardz Challenge to start from the beginning.  This hop is all about Easter!  So here is the project I came up with:

  • sand pail from Michael's (only $1!!)
  • Simply Charmed cartridge = chick, bunny kid
  • Cake Basics (shadow feature) = name title
  • Martha Stewart border punch
  • Pink By Design sentiment = Hoppy easter set
  • ribbon from my stash
  • Stickles
  • Post-it Craft paper
*I like getting beach buckets for my kids to have as Easter baskets, 'cause after Easter is over they can use a bucket a lot more than a basket!

*I added Stickles to the egg spots.
*I also used the spots from the egg shell cut out to add more decoration to the bucket!

That's it! Very easy to put together, and using the Post-it Craft paper makes it SUPER EASY to just peel off the decorations and add them to a layout about Easter!  And no sticky glue left on the bucket.

So now please head on over to see Kristin and her amazing Easter project :o)

Here's the lineup in case you get lost or need to stop along the way:

  23. These are fabulous! I haven't played with the Post it paper yet but I am going to soon! I am in love with doing sand buckets! I also do them for my preschool class at Halloween! It gives them a fun collection container for the festivities at school and for whatever celebrations they partake in at night!

  40. Very cute project. Many moons ago we got new Easter pails from the Borden's milkman. They were heavy chipboard and just perfect for egg hunts. Thanks for bringing back memories of good times.
    Blessings!
