Thank you for joining us for the Bake Sale Blog Hop! You should have just come from Tara over at Homemade Happiness. If you didn't, please head on over to see Georgiana at Carson's Creations so you can start from the beginning :oD So National Bake Sale Day is actually May 19th. To celebrate, we were to create a project that relates to baking...cupcakes, wrappers, cookies, banners, toppers, etc. Anything to do with baking. I was so excited when I was told the theme, 'cause I had the perfect project in mind! I had been wanting to make the platter from the Happy Hauntings cartridge ever since I got it, but I never had! AND, I got to use my very favorite paper, Cosmo Cricket!
Now don't forget you can keep up with everything Cosmo Cricket on their Facebook Page HERE, and on the Cosmo Cricket blog HERE. And check out more Cosmo Cricket projects starting HERE.
So with the help of my handy dandy Gypsy, here's how it turned out:
*Happy Hauntings cartridge
*Cupcakes Cricut Lite cartridge
*Here is the platter with some DEEE-LISC-IOUS pumpkin muffins!
*Here is the empty platter (can you guess where the muffins went???) so you can see how truly gorgeous this Cosmo Cricket paper is!
*Since this was from a Halloween themed cart, the top had skulls all around the edges. I used my Gypsy to hide them.
*The base legs had bat heads on them. I just trimmed the ears off, and rounded some of the points on the wings.
And of course you have to have some CANDY in a bake sale blog hop! Here is my sweet treat for you:
