On Vacation Post #2- Mickey and Friends Monday!

Hi Everybody!
I really hope you are enjoying this newest feature on my blog.  I am so excited to share the Disney and Cricut magic!  I am still on vacation, and didn't create a new project, but I wanted to share one I previously had made.

I made a Pin the Badge on Woody game! (I got this cart for Christmas and I loooooove it!) Here are my project details:

*Toy Story cartridge = Woody, both titles
*Woody and all layers cut @ 23 1/2"
*titles and all layers cut @ 3 1/2"
*Stickles
*cardstock from my stash for all cuts
*white gel pen
*adhesive
*poster board
*The stars on the side are the extra badges for the players to pin on Woody :o)

*I just wrote "PIN HERE" so that kids/people would know where they are supposed to pin the badge.

Done! This took a little time to put together, but because it was so big, it was pretty easy.

And now for my guest designer.....my Cooking With Cricut design team sister Jennifer Hudson!  She made a beautiful project:

I created this 12 x 12 scene for my 7 year old daughter using the Disney Dreams Come True cartridge. Jasmine and Aladdin will call their new home a 12 x 12 Plexiglas frame over her dresser.

Jasmine and Aladdin are cut at 10" wide by 6 3/4" tall. "Aladdin" text is cut at 8 7/8" wide by 3" tall. The stars were drawn free-hand with a white gelly roll pen and the clouds were sponged on using a cloud mask and a white rubber stamp ink pad.

My tip for all Disney cartridges -- Keep the pieces on your mat until you are ready to glue them down! That way those itty bitty pieces won't get lost or mistakenly thrown out.

Thanks,
Jen @ Musings of a Crafty Mom

  8. OMG! How fabulous!! I always deter myself from the Disney carts unless I use my Cri-Kits pens instead of cutting. Those are just adorable!

  10. I love pin the badge on Woody! I want to make something like that for the classroom! Also loving the tip of leaving the pieces on the mat until ready to glue down. I can't tell you how many pieces I hand cut because I have lost one.

    Have a good vacation!
