Welcome to the Back to School Blog Hop!

Hi Everybody!
Welcome to the Back to School Blog Hop!  Hopefully you just came from visiting Susan from It's Me Susan P.  If not, please head on over to see our hop hostess Michelle at Queen of my Craftroom so you can start at the beginning.

We have 3 sponsors: Karbar Digital Stamps, Jen's Digi Stamps, and Hambo Stamps. Each sponsor is giving away a digi stamp. There will also be blog candy along the way, so sit back and enjoy all the creative ideas that these talented ladies are sharing :)  And now on to my project!  It's getting harder and harder for teachers to have enough supplies in the classroom, so we always try to donate a few supplies to help out.  I made a little bag to hold the supplies and a little matching card to go with it.  Here are the details:

*Tags, Bag, Boxes, and More cartridge
*Locker Talk cartridge = title on bag, apple card (using card feature)
*Pink By Design = Notebook Paper Background, Our Teachers set
*Peachy Keen Stamps = Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment
*Stickles
*border punch
*white gel pen
*DCWV School mat stack

*Adding the notebook background to the title really put the finishing touch on this title!

*I cut the DCWV paper to go behind the apple.  I thought the numbers were perfect for a back to school note!

*This sentiment from PBD was perfect for this card!

* I stamped the notecard background stamp first, then the sentiment on top.

And of course there's gotta be candy in school, lol!!

I thought it would match the school theme to have some glue as blog candy.  This isn't the kind they use in school though!  To enter for this fantastic adhesive:

1.  Leave a comment on this post.
2.  Please become a follower of my blog (you won't be sorry, I promise!).

I hope you liked my project, and are enjoying the hop!  Now please head on over to see an amazing crafter

Jill over at The Scrapoholic.

Here's the lineup in case you get lost or need to stop along the way:

  11. Love your bag of goodies. It is so true, they never have enough supplies and the teachers end up buying them out of their own money. What a great thing you are doing.

  41. What a cute idea and I bet the teacher will really appreciate it, especially the copy paper! When I worked as an aide in our elementary school, paper was already so scarce in October that some of the teachers were keeping their's in the truck of their cars! lol
