Welcome to the Roberts Design Team Blog Hop!

Hi Everybody!
Welcome to the Roberts Design Team Blog Hop!  You should have just from from visiting Faith.  If not, please head over to see Brie at http://blog.robertscrafts.com/ so you can start from the beginning :)

I am SOOO excited about my post today!  In case you missed my recent blog announcement, I am happy to announce I am a new designer for Robert Arts & Crafts!!   They just started the design team and I am honored to be joining a wonderful team of talented ladies.  Today is a blog hop to introduce the designers that will be posting on the Roberts Blog.  For those of you new to my blog welcome!  For my new visitors, let me tell you a little bit about myself

Hi, my name is Jenny, and I am a craft-o-holic!  I have been crafting for over 10 years.  I started crafting with scrapbooking. After I met my husband, I started scrapbooking our engagement, and getting ready for the wedding. Then I got my Cricut, and my crafting has never been the same!  Without a doubt, my favorite tool is my Cricut. It has allowed me to be more artistic than I could ever be on my own. It’s made me think about layers, colors, and patterns in different ways. And I have been able to branch out to home décor, party favors, and make more presents than I ever thought possible!  I LOVE to make useful things like home décor, and making favors and invitations for my kids’ birthday parties. I also love making a calendar every year for Christmas presents for our whole family. The out-of-state relatives really appreciate being able to keep up with what my kids have been doing the whole year.

The project I have to share with you today is one I made for my daughter's teacher for the first day of school.  With all the budget cuts, they need all the school supplies they can get so we always make sure to donate at least a few items.  And being a crafter, I couldn't just hand them over!  Of course I had to make it look pretty.  So here's how it turned out and some details:

(Most of the supplies for this project are available at Roberts stores or on the Roberts online store.)

*Martha Stewart Scoring Board = box (size 7" x 7")
*PSA Essentials = Mom's Calendar stamp set (not available at Roberts)
*Pink By Design = Our Teachers stamp set (not available at Roberts)

*We include soap, glue, a ream of copy paper, and a box of tissue.  These things seem to be used up lightening fast!

I hope you enjoyed my project.  I look forward to sharing more projects with you on the Roberts Blog!  Now please head on over to see my new design team sister Brooke and see what she has to share with you :oD

Here's the lineup in case you get lost or need to stop along the way:
