Eeek! It's a Spider Card using Pink By Design Stamps!!

Hi Everybody!
It's my turn on the Pink By Design team blog today, and I want to say hi.....my name is Jenny and I'm a twist-ease-card-aholic, lol!! I am totally hooked on making these!  I've made a couple of different sizes in these cards. For this one, I found the measurements HERE. This size will fit in a standard envelope, so it's easy to mail! Let's get started:

Here are the supplies you'll need:
*Mini Monsters cartridge
*Pink By Design = Ghostly Greetings
*Peachy Keen Stamps = Wide Eyed Kids Assortment
*Martha Stewart = patterned paper, spiderweb corner punch, spider web deep border punch
*twine = The Twinery
*Stampin' Up! = yellow paper
*button
*Stickles = orange, purple

*Cut the base layer for the card @ 4 1/4" x 9 3/4" (yellow colored cardstock).
*Fold the top portion into a triange by folding the top left corner to the bottom right side.
*Cut the top layer @ 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (spiderweb patterned paper).
*Using the spiderweb corner punch, punch each of the four corners of the top layer.

*Cut the spider (p.54) using the base shadow feature @ 2.18".
*Using the Gypsy, hide the cuts for the spider face using the hide contour feature. This will allow you to use a face stamp.
*Cut the spider layer (on mine the purple layer) @ 2.18".
*Wrap the twine around this layer two times, or as many as desired.
*Loop twine through the button.
*Adhere the black patterned paper down.

*Depending on the size of the sentiment you choose, cut cardstock leaving 1/4" border around the sentiment.
*Cut second larger layer 1/4" bigger.
*Adhere to the base using foam dots. **VERY IMPORTANT** This is what will be holding the card up in the easel position.
*This is the perfect sentiment for this sweet little spider!

*Using the deep edge spiderweb punch, punch a strip about 4".
*I added purple stickles to the middle of each spider web. This also highlights the purple of the spider :)

*Here is the card closed.

*I think the twisted easel cards really give a wow factor once they're opened!
This is the perfect card to send to a friend, and decorate your mantle. I hope you try one and share it with all of us at PBD on the messageboard! Thanks for looking, and please check back tomorrow on the Pink By Design blog for another amazing project from the PBD Design team :OD
