Samantha's Birthday Blog Hop

Hi  Everybody!
Welcome to Samantha's Birthday blog hop! Hopefully you just came from my fellow hopper Shannin.  If not, please go to the first stop on the hop at Samantha's Cricut Creations so you can start from the beginning

For this hop Samantha asked us to create a birthday themed project.  I LOVE creating birthday projects, so this was not a problem!  I though about it, and what is every woman on her birthday??  A queen!  So here is a crown I created fit for any birthday queen :oD

*Once Upon A Princess cartridge
*Preserves Cuttlebug embossing folder
*Martha Stewart Glitter
*Post-it Craft Paper
*bling from my stash

*I put the whole crown together and then embossed it (I had to do this in sections).

*The Post-it Craft paper is put on adhesive side up.  All I had to do was sprinkle the glitter on there and called it done!

And for my blog candy??

The Catcha Wave background stamp from Pink By Design!  This is perfect for those beach themed cards, or vacation layouts :oD

You’re Invited – Boy vs. Girl

Hi Everybody!
I have another project to share with you today for the Pink By Design birthday celebration.  The Pink By Design DT is lucky enough to have a guy on the team, Bryan from ScrapGuy's PaperCrafting Adventure. It's great to have a guys perspective on things, and inspiration for those man projects that seem to be hard for so many of us crafters! So for this special post Bryan and I teamed up to give you all a boy vs. girl take on invitations. Here's how mine turned out:

*Once Upon A Princess cartridge
*Pink By Design = Cloudy Day background stamp, Take the Cake set
*Peachy Keen Stamps = Princess Face Assortment

Make sure you check out all the projects today with the HOURLY posts from the rest of the super talented PBD Design team :)  TFL!

Happy Birthday Pink By Design

Hi Everybody!
Today Pink By Design is celebrating turning 1!!  Are you enjoying all the HOURLY inspiration on the PBD blog today??? I know I've been loving it, and have gotten lots of ideas today :)  Now it's my turn for a project. Since it's Pink By Designs birthday, I decided to make a birthday centerpiece. Here's how it turned out:

*Once Upon A Princess cartridge
*Pink By Design = Take the Cake set
*Post-it Craft Paper

The Monkey Business set from A-manda Creation is absolutely my favorite kit!  It has been so easy this week making these projects.  The only hard part has been to narrow down my choices!  Today I made a journal to take on all our zoo trips for the kids to record their "findings and observations".  And the pages will be really cute to read when they're older :)   Here are the details:

*polka dot, leaves patterned papers, monkeys, palm trees, and leaves = A-manda Creation Monkey Business set
*paper from my stash
*Pink By Design = twine, Jungle Fever stamp set

Today I used the SUPER CUTE Monkey Business set from A-manda Creation to make my pocket card. Here are the details:

*Palm tree patterned paper, brads, and monkey = A-manda Creation Monkey Business set
*Stampin' Up! paper
*Pink By Design = twine, Jungle Fever stamp set

*He really swings from the "vine"!

*There were a couple of stamps from this set that would have worked, but I chose this one 'cause who wouldn't cheer up looking at this super cute little monkey??

*To glue his tail to the "vine" I used Scotch Quicky Dry glue.

*What's a project without Stickles?  I added the glittery jungle grass with some dark green Stickles :)

The Queen's Royal Court Blog Hop Day 2- Featuring A-manda Creation

Hi Everybody!
Welcome to The Queen's Royal Court Blog Hop! The Queen's talented designer's have one awesome week for you showcasing A-manda Creation and her digital designs. You should have just come from my good friend Gaby from Gaby Creates. If not, please head over to the hop hostess Theresa at The Scrapbooking Queen's blog.

My kids will be going back to school in a couple of weeks :(  While it's been more than crazy having all four home all day at the same time, I know that they grow up so fast that I try to enjoy it :)  So of course they get a special surprise in their lunch for the first week of school.  I decided to decorate their lunch bags!  I used the A-DORA-BLE Monkey Business set from A-manda Creation.  Here are the details:

*Banana patterned paper, buttons, and monkey = A-manda Creation Monkey Business set
*EK Success border punch
*Pink By Design = twine, Our Kids stamp set

*I just punched hole through the buttons, added some twine to close the bag, and VOILA!

*Isn't he TOOOOO cute?  I decided to add some red Stickles in the hearts.
*Also added some pop dots behind him.

*I thought this sentiment went so perfectly with the banana paper from this kit!

I thought it turned out so cute!  And because these are digital elements, I can easily just go print out another set of elements and make 2 more bags for my other daughters!
