Hi Everybody!
Welcome to the Valentine Hop Featuring the Thankful Thursday Design Team! I am so excited (and proud!) to be doing this hop with such an amazing team, and such talented crafters. I know today you will be getting some fantastic inspiration for Valentine's Day, so let's get started! There will also be a way for you to get extra entries for the prizes, so make sure you read to the end of this post :)
For our project, we made little mail boxes for my kids to take to school and keep their Valentine's in. Here's how they turned out:
*These were simple to make. We just used the small priority mail boxes from the post office!! Free is the best price :O)
*We used some rub ons and patterned paper for decoration.
*She put some themed gelly stickers on the other side.
*We made sure to cut the holes in before we started designing so we knew which way to face things!
*My oldest used this owl image from the Jaded Blossom set I Hoot You.
*Hand-drawn art always makes projects a little more special :O)
*I had to take a picture of this before I cut the hole. Apparently my 9 year old wanted to make sure I knew where to cut, lol!
I hope you'll try some of these with your family! If you do, please link them up for the challenge, and share them on my Facebook wall HERE. And now.................

These are awesome Jenny and kiddos! Looks like they put a lot of love into their project!! I love the idea of using the flat rate boxes! We've been saving cereal boxes for my preschool classes but I don't think we can eat 24 boxes by 2/14! I may need to make a visit to the PO! Thanks for the great idea!
