Cooking With Cricut - Christmas in July

Hi Everybody!
It's time for another
Cooking With Cricut Challenge! This challenge is all about Christmas in July! PLUS you have to use a piece of scrap paper and make a Christmas themed project.  Here are the details for my project:

*Christmas Cricut cartridge - Santa
*Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge - tags
*cardboard, patterned paper, and all solid cardstock from my scrap pile!

*I thought it would be fun to make a countdown calendar for my kids :)  I'm also planning to write a family activity on the back of each day.

*I highlighted Santa's beard with crystal Stickles.  Love the added sparkle and dimension!

*I added some sparkly Christmas tree brads for the perfect finishing touch :)

I hope you enjoyed my project. Now it’s your turn!!! Head on over to Cooking With Cricut to enter your project. TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :OD

  2. Great countdown calendar! Definitely going to have to "lift" this one for my daughter. Love the sparkles on the jolly old elf's beard, Jenny.

  3. Hi Jenny,
This is such cute idea. I don't ever remember seeing that Santa cut. I just love it and will have to use it. I like that you used the tags for the countdown numbers.

  4. This is such a cool idea, I am going to lift this for my kids one of these days!

  5. Great countdown for your family. How fun is that. TFS.
