Here's a look at the set we're for today, the "Hey Cupcake Stamp Set.
(Stamp Set will NOT be sold individually until sometime next year)
*It's almost too yummy!!!
Since it's a birthday party, I thought it would be fun to show how to make some wrapping paper with this delicious set. Here's how it turned out:
*I used a roll of Postal Wrapping Paper I bought from the Dollar Tree, dark pink ink, and of course the cupcake from the "Hey Cupcake" set from Jaded Blossom.
*I cut out a piece of paper the size that I needed, and then stamped the cupcake in an alternating pattern.
*I then added some pink Stickles to the cupcakes. (I chose to do this step before I wrapped the box, then waited for them to dry before wrapping.)
*I decided I also wanted a custom tag to go with the present. So I stamped the cupcake on kraft cardstock, mirroring each other.
*Then I hand cut around the two of them, and folded in half.
*I stamped the sentiment, and the two little cupcakes that come in this set on the inside of the tag.
*Then I combined some tulle, and one of the fibers that comes in the birthday kit to create my bow.
*I accented my bow with a jewel (that also comes in the birthday kit).
*Taaaa daaaa! Here is my beautifully wrapped present!
I hope you liked my project! Check out the Jaded Blossom blog to see what the rest of the design team made. Make sure to come back tomorrow for another sneak peek!
And don't forget:
Blog Hop will be on Friday, 9 pm all through the weekend!
TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :O)
