I am so super excited that the Miss Kate Cuttables design team is having a Co-Hop with the Xyron Company fabulous designers! All this week you'll get to check out the fabulous projects from both teams, so don't miss checking out both the Miss Kate main blog, and the Xyron blog :) And now onto my project for today!
Here's what I used:
*Xyron - Glue Stick, 1/4" High Tack Tape,
*Miss Kate Cuttables - Birds in Nest
*Jaded Blossom - Easter Treats 2 stamp set
*Craftwork Cards - Candi embellishments
*Timeless Twine - Lemonade Yellow Twine
*Martha Stewart - glitter
*I LOVE making clear cards. I think they have such fun interaction, and dimension!
I wanted to share a little bit on how I put this card together.
*Here's how I layed the cuts out in the Silhouette Designer software.
*I like to label each color so I don't forget what they are!
*I also make sure to turn off the cut lines for the text so they don't get cut out.
*Then I lay out my cardstock accordingly.
*After everything is cut out, they're ready to go into the 3" Sticker Maker!
*These little Makers are so awesome when I have to adhere little bitty pieces! I just line them up, and then run them through.
*Once they come out, I rub the cuts through the top sheet (as they so nicely label for you to do!).
*Then just peel it back, and they're ready to stick!
*I also love the Sticker makers because they apply an even coat of adhesive to the cuts. This way there is no ugly glue showing through the back of my clear card :)
*The High Tack Tape was perfect to add my glitter border. And since both the card, and the tape are see through, the gorgeous glitter showed through on both sides!
*Here's another look at my finished project.
I hope you liked it! Now if you've stuck with this post this long, you deserve some.........
