Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party - Christmas in July

Hi Everybody!
Today is my design team post for Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party hosted by Tara of Craftin Desert Divas!  Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly linky party and you could win fabulous prizes!!

This linky party theme is:

We invite you to link up all your Christmas in July projects.

The fabulous sponsors for this weeks linky are:
CDD- One stamp set

My Scrap Chick - $10 Code

May Arts Ribbon - 3 Millimeter Diamond Chain

The more you link up, the better chance you have to win.  Visit Craftin Desert Divas for all the rules and to play along.  Here is what I created for this linky party:

*Craftin' Desert Divas - Happy Celebrations stamp set
*Cutcardstock.com - Satin Ribbon

*To create my card, I used 2 of the layers from the Artbooking Cricut cartridge.
*First, I used my Gypsy to hide the holes on the side of the photo mat layer.
*Then I copied it, created 2, and welded them together.
*I then cut a mat layer @ 3.89" x 4.65".
*The card front was cut @ 3.76" x 4.49".

Here's another look at the card:

*To create the repeating sentiment, I veeeeery carefully
cut the Merry Christmas sentiment apart.  (Make sure you are using very sharp scissors if you choose to do this.  I used my CTMH Micro-Tip Scissors found HERE.)
*Cutting the stamp apart allowed me to stamp the Merry multiple times in red, and the Christmas once in green.

*Adding pop dots under the sentiment gave the card some nice dimension.

I used the Merry Christmas sentiment
from this FABULOUS stamp set!

Hope you will Craft It Up & Link It Up!!!   TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :)
