Scrappin Roots Blog Hop!!

Hi Everybody!

Thank you for joining me in this great blog hop! You should have come from Ann Marie over at Cardsby Yours Trulee.  If you didn't go back over to Erin at
http://www.spantastikreations.blogspot.com/ to start from the beginning.  Didn't you love her layout?!?!  I was really excited to take part in this hop 'cause I really LOVED the idea of getting back to my scrappin' roots!  I've seen so many people doing cards, and I think that's because sometimes the idea of scrapbooking can be overwhelming.  But doing a card means you will have a finished project when you're done.  But we have to save the memories!!  I know my kids love to pull out the scrapbooks I've finished (gasp, finished?!?!), and sit and look at themselves when they were little. 

So here is the layout I came up with:

*Sweet Treats

*Pink By Design Take the Cake set

*buttons and twine from my stash

*all cardstock from my stash too

I used red ink for the sentiment, and also to dot around the heart. 

I stamped a couple of sentiments together on the tag.  I also used a stamp to stamp a frame.

That's it!!
