Cooking With Cricut Design Team Day - Grandparents Day Challenge!

Hi Everybody!
Today is a great day!  Not only are we half way to the weekend (yaaaay!), but it's time for another Cooking With Cricut Challenge!  Today's challenge is:

Grandparents...Heritage Challenge
The 1st Sunday after Labor Day is Grandparents day (the 11th) so how about a project commemorating our Grandparents or a Heritage type project!

I seem to forget Grandparents Day every year (enter BIG sad face here).  My parents are really, really great to my kids and they deserve a HUGE thank you for everything they do.  I have one grandma who we're thankful for too.  Here's the card I made with my two little ones to give to my parents.  (My two older ones made things to, but gave them away before I could snap a picture!).

*George and Basic Shapes
*Pink by Design = Just a Note set,
*Colorbok chalk ink
*Stampin' Up! = ink, yellow cardstock
*DCWV = Crafty stack (blue)

*The inkpads were the kind shaped in a big flower with different colors for each petal.
*I just took each of my kids hands and layed them across the whole inkpad to get the rainbow effect.

*I used the individual letters from the PBD set Just a Note to create my card sentiment/title!
*I also used the letters to stamp each of my kids names.

*I used the The Life You Imagined  that had this perfect sentiment.

*I think sometimes we can get so caught up in trying to get caught up (with laundry, cleaning, errands.....) that we can sometimes miss the little things our kids do.  This is saying is definitely becoming a motto for me!

Now it’s your turn!!!  Let’s see your grandparent or heritage project.  Head on over to Cooking With Cricut to enter your project.  TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :OD
