Hi Everybody!
We are doing a Back to the 80's Themed Hop for our DT Sister Jamie of Jamiek711 Designs, it's her Birthday Today!
Happy 30th Birthday!
If your here from Kate, then your in the right place. If not, please head on over to see Candace, so you can start this hop from the beginning!
Here is what I made:
*Slumber Party Cricut cartridge - box base
*Designer's Calendar - calendar grid base for squares
*Jaded Blossom - Got Candy? stamp set
*adhesive paper - colored squares
*white gel pen for stitching
*I was looking through Pinterest for images of the 80's, and the Rubix Cube kept popping up. I realized it would be simple to turn a cube box into a Rubix Cube treat box!
*To make sure all the squares were lined up evenly, I used the negative cut from the squares.
*The colored paper I used was repositionable, so I was able to just lay the white cut down on each panel.
*Then I just layed the colored squares in, and lifted the white back up when I was done!
*Here's another look. This sentiment was perfect!
*I put the sentiment on using pop dots.
*Side view.....
I hope she likes my project! It's filled with yummy treats too! But I adhered this one loosely so I can flatten it out again and be able to mail it to her. And we can't forget the BLOG CANDY!!
Jaded Blossom is sponsoring this hop with the gorgeous stamp set.....
All you have to do is comment on all the blogs in the hop and wish Jamie a Happy Birthday!!
Next up on the Hop is
Jaymie!!
Don't forget to stop by and Greet Jamie a Very Happy Birthday!!!!
Here's a complete list of the hop in case you get lost....
